Elite Feet is not a chain store.
We are one store with one goal in mind for each and every customer. Elite Feet wants to provide you with the best fitting most comfortable shoes for your feet.
The caring and educated specialist at Elite Feet will properly fit you with shoes that will benefit your overall health. Feet can vary greatly in terms of physical needs and fitting your shoe for length, width, support, and stability is very important in finding your right shoe.
Unlike most specialty shoe stores, we choose our inventory based on the quality of workmanship, value/price ratio, and vender/retailer relationship. We believe our customers deserve only the very best products at a reasonable cost.
The selection of footwear changes with the season. Elite Feet has the very best in running and walking shoes year-round. Come spring, the shoe wall grows to include a great selection of supportive flips and slides.

Kansas City born and raised, Arthur has been with Elite Feet since the beginning of time. A true shoe geek, Arthur has been a runner himself! He loves the Chiefs, is a fantastic storyteller of both non-fiction and tall tales, a music lover (and starter of Beatles Saturday in the store), whose favorite things include BBQ, spicy pepper salsas, creme soda and “Rocky.” Arthur is a Father to 3 kids, 2 dogs, and now a Grandpa to three beautiful grandchildren.

Gaelyn also known as G or Aunt G. She is a mountain, music (rock, folk, pop), and movie lover (action, comedies, fantasy, and rom-coms). She loves dogs including Maple, her rescue pup. She enjoys being with her friends, family, niece, and two nephews.

Don is known as the Shoe Guru since 1980 and to this day loves the smell of new shoes. Bring up the subjects of Kansas City, Jayhawk Basketball, BBQ or The Beatles and you will find yourself in the conversation for sure. He truly loves getting to visit and know people (now on many second, third, and even fourth generations) that come to Elite Feet. He can recall feet and the shoes worn by a particular individual yet not what he had for dinner. Leslie, the "Sock Queen", retired in 2018 to spend more time with their grands. She can be found testing new shoes and socks while spotting lucky herons. Don and Leslie are parents of 3 daughters, 2 pups - Penny and Kit, and grandparents (Nana and Opa) of three adorable kiddos.
